Problem creating trip

Hi all
I have been trying to create a route on basecamp for a trip to France but when I put the destination in although the map centred on the location it said location not found and as it said that I could not finish has anyone got any suggestions.

What location were you trying to find? Which map do you have selected in BaseCamp.

for your quick reply I am using the latest map 2015.40 NTU and the location is in France Wicquinghem.

That works for me. Try this. Ctrl + Alt + F. In the POI drop down box select Cities, then in the search box enter Wicquinghem and press enter. Gives me a town up near Calais.

Sorry I have just realised this is in the wrong place I use a Mac and this is windows/basecamp please feel free to move it .
You suggestion did not work I presume it was for windows ? I have got round the problem by selecting it as a waypoint.
