Basecamp nearly unusable

I just updated my maps to the latest available version, City Navigator NTU 2015.4.
I have Base Camp 4.4.6.
I am trying to make a route on the map that involves finding a city on the map, but it seems impossible.
In my case I have northern Italy on the map, I search in the up right window for the city Bolzano.
I get no adress result, only a couple of useless Yelp results.
Next, I use the hand tool to find it, after 15 clicks on the map, I eventually find it.
What is wrong? Is it suposed to be this hard to use or what?

You're doing something wrong then as I'm finding Bolzano without issue. Have you selected POIs, Cities as the search target?

Well, I just type Bolzano in the search field, Adresses are selected.
If i go to "Advanced" I can see it searches for a street named Bolzano. If I change to just the city "Bolzano" it just says I need to type the street, "Like Main St"

If you want to find just a city it's no use using the Address target. You need to select POIs, Cities

I must say the search function is not very intuitive.

I think generally it is, but I've long argued that Cities should have their own unique place on the list. Grouping them under POIs has never made sense in my view, as they're not grouped under POIs on either On the trail or On the road devices!!
