I'm not sure what you mean by edition utilities. Is this a separate application that allows editing tracks?
We already support editing a track to a degree within Mac BC. You can delete a track point from a track from both the map view (right-click track-point within a track and select 'delete track point') and the track properties (select which track-point and hit delete key). What additional features would you like to see regarding editing a track?
I presume they want buttons in the toolbar, just as in the Windows version... BaseCamp for the Mac has the same editing capabilities as BaseCamp for Windows, it's just that the editing functions aren't obvious because they are hidden in popup menus.
It is just what it says Javawa. En Windows BC, for example, there is a tool in the toolbar you can select with the mouse, and directly on the track you can delete all points you want by simply touching them. The same to move or insert points. It is very simple and fast. In Mac BC is very complicated. It really is very different.
Moving or inserting points is actually very easy: use the hand or arrow tool, press and hold the option/alt key and drag the point to move it, or drag the line between points to add one. The option/alt key isn't needed when you change a setting in the preferences. (In the Windows version of BaseCamp you can do it the same way using the hand tool and the alt key)
Deleting (multiple) points or splitting a track requires a few more actions (as described by Wurth), but it's certainly not "very complicated" (again, you can do it the same way in BC/Win, if you wish)
Well, now I know best Mac BC (thank you very much Javawa), I see that move and insert is very easy. But deleting points still seems uncomfortable. One more issue: there is a trick to use the Undo/Redo tools without opening the File menu?
