Admission from Garmin that there is an issue, it's time dependent. If you are quick, the edit takes. Hesitate and the issue arrises.

Oh, I'm aware of their admission. I've posted here earlier. And my speed makes no difference.

I should have done the research first. From the Garmin webpage for BaseCamp for Mac:
