Are there only 6 of us that can't drag a route and get a shaping waypoint inserted? Have not tried as many times as Steve but every time I try the route just snaps back to the original route.

Nope! At least 7 since it doesn't work for me either....

Have the same problem of Straight lines and BaseCamp 4.4.2. is not useable anymore for drawing route from a set of waypoints.
Is there any compatibility of database when I will re-install BW 4.3.5 using the link mentionned in this thread ?
Why I'm asking this question ? I've BaseCamp 4.4.2. on 2 computer using a database located on a cloud but cannot use this database on my old laptop running Windows XP and still on BC 4.2.5.
Till BC 4.4.2 and Straight Lines trouble, I made a route with BC 4.4.2., save the Route and Waypoint on a gpx. Open it on my laptop with BC 4.2.5, re-calculate the route (perfectly matching on the map roads), save the route as a trak, save the track on a gpx and import i on BC 4.4.2 database on my other computer... but I don't want to do it for long times ... So I'll try to get back to BC 4.3.5... wainting for BC 4.4.3.

GPSMAP 60 Csx, 62s, 64s and Fenix

We (azdrmn included) are not seeing this behavior on 4.4.3. Could you verify under the Controls tab in Preferences that you don't have the 'Use Option while dragging to move data' box checked? If not, then what map and coordinates of the beginning and ending route waypoints are you using that demonstrate the issue? Drag and drop coordinates would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

Are you guys still not seeing the routing issue of dragging the route but no shaping waypoint being inserted? I am reading the problem was not fixed in 4.4. Drag to move is not checked. CN 2015.2 map, dragging route to change has not worked on a single route after .3 the pros on this forum says it's broken, thanks

We have been trying to reproduce this issue on our end, and until this morning we've been unable. The good news is that I have a workaround for you to try until we are able to release an update with this fixed.

The issue is related to how long you hover over a point before you drop the new route via point. If you drag the route and drop it on the desired point in less than a second it works. If you hover over the destination point for more than a second before dropping it the action is ignored. Please give this a try in the short term while we work on a new version. We have a 4.4.5 coming soon that fixes other issues relating to routing, but since we just determined how to reproduce this today this will be fixed in an upcoming version instead. I'm sorry for any confusion this has caused, but be assured we are working hard to address these types of issues.

LOL. That's one of the weirdest programming bugs I've ever seen. It does explain why the issue appeared to be intermittent though. And yes, if you're quick, it does work as stated.

I installed Base Camp 4.4.3 on a new computer to transfer some waypoints to my Fenix 2 using the Cloud feature.
I can't in any way get any waypoints that I create in BaseCamp to get into my cloud storage. Another 4.4.3 bug.
I will downgrade this to 4.3 as well to see if that solves it.

Any resolution of the drop and drag?

Admission from Garmin that there is an issue, it's time dependent. If you are quick, the edit takes. Hesitate and the issue arrises.
