Not directly, but you can load the files into Basecamp, join them there and then send the complete route to your GPS. Any reason why you're against using Basecamp?
I've used it for a couple of years now and it will easily accomplish what you want :confused:
While trekking/travelling I won't have access to a laptop/basecamp software. So if I hear about a trek I want to do, but haven't preloaded the software - how would I download a gpx file - that is available on the internet - onto my Garmin?
E.g. Is there a way to download a gpx file - to say my htc windows phone - then transfer it across to my garmin. Or download it from an internet shop, and upload to my Garmin?
I've used basecamp to download some gpx files to my garmin, and agree its good software, but won't have access to it while travelling.
Well I believe from page 5 of the user manual you can send routes from a smart phone to your 64 using bluetooth, note this only applies to the 64s and 64st. Whether you can them join them (as per your original post) it doesn't say. As I don't have access to a 64 that's all the help I can give.
