Basecamp download displays old(?) waypoints from Legend H v2.10

Recently when I DOWNLOAD tracks and waypoints from my Legend H Basecamp displays old (!) info for all waypoints except the last one.

When I plug in the unit and select it in the "My Garmin Devices" area, the correct waypoints are displayed on the map. Likewise, selecting points in the lower left part of the screen (the device info is showing), the correct points show up on the map.

But when I download the info, all but the last waypoint are OLD DATA POINTS.

This has happened the last handful of times but I only recently figured out what appears to happen. Today I took a hike and logged a dozen waypoints. They display correctly on the Legend H but after downloading into Basecamp only the last waypoint is correct on the map. All previous ones are from some other trip, sometimes years before today. Oddly, they are a sequence of past waypoints.

The same thing happens on two Macs here, one running MacOS 10.9.4 and the other running Yosemite.

I downloaded the 4401Beta version of Basecamp and got the same results.

Anyone else seeing this or similar behavior?

Version 4.4.3 (4.4.3) is showing this behavior, too.

BaseCamp 4.4.3. for the Mac is available through the Mac App Store since a couple of days.

4.4.3 is dated 14.

Solution for now: Renamed the Database folder in the ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/BaseCamp folder. BaseCamp startup recreated the Database folder without the cruft that was affecting the misguided waypoints. I imported recent info from the Legend and it looks okay. My 'history' is lost in the mists unless I go thru a renaming dance and move the old Database back into view.

You could rename everything, open your old database, and export your historical data. Then rename it back and import that exported data into your new database.

Thanks. I'll try some more renaming plus export/import. I updated to Yosemite today and BaseCamp runs okay on my iMac but crashes on startup on my MBAir. Ripped out the whole ApplicationSupport/Garmin directory. Removed and reinstalled BaseCamp -- no improvement. Crash sump shows it's way down deep. :-(

The crash traceback seemed so deep in the OS that maybe it wasn't Garmin's fault. I reloaded Yosemite on the MBAir and BaseCamp is okay now. Still with a fresh DBMS -- I'll try to recover history some other time.

Maybe not relevant but when I reloaded the OS, I copied the "Install Yosemite" package onto the internal disk. First effort was from an external drive. No idea why it's different. Just being thorough in my error report.
