How does one select a topo map region on Basecamp for xfer to a GPS device (60Csx)? I've done it many times using Mapsource on my old PC, but now can't figure it out on the MAC with Basecamp.
If you want to do the map install from BaseCamp so that the map segments you send to the 60Csx cover just the area of the data you are sending to the GPS, then when you send your data to the GPS, the popup window has a "check-box" for "Send the maps with MapInstall when done." This will start MapInstall for you.
Use the App Garmin MapInstall. Connect your GPS to the Mac and once the device is mounted start MapInstall and select Customize. Select your topo map and then select Advanced Partial Install. Then select the tiles or map segments you want on the device. Make sure there are no other map segments selected before you start your current selection. Once you've finish selecting your map segments...Send Maps.
