I've had my 390LM for about a month now and I travel out of state just about every weekend on my motorcycle. The route that the 390 sends me on is not the best way to get to where I go, so I decided to make a custom route in BC that is much quicker and avoids congested roadways; however, once I load it into my 390 and select it under 'Trip Planner', the 390 recalculates and completely overrides the route I created and instead instructs me to follow the same route that it has had me following before I even made this custom route.
Here is my process:
I select 'New Route' in BC and add a start and an end waypoint. After BC calculates the suggested route, I use the 'Insert' tool to reshape the route to my liking. After that, I send the route to the internal storage of the 390, and it shows up under Apps > Trip Planner just fine. Once I select it, and hit Go! it asks me to "Select Next Destination". Since there is only two (the start and the finish), I select the finish. Once I do that the 390 recalculates and ignores my entire route.
I would greatly appreciate any help solving this,
