Trip Planner and My Collection interaction with the map is absolutely essential, I assume that is why you did not make the Trip Planner window float. I also realize BaseCamp success is dependent on the masses as oppose to the few hardcore user that her post regularly. We have Master tags. How hard would it be to code a button in the advance search that would bring up My Collection only by folders and list in the advance search? I realize you can search for user data only but that requires me to remember and type waypoints names or at least part of the waypoint name.
Here is a tip, I think Dan posted may have posted this earlier but today is the first time I tried. If you have a route in My Collection you want to use in Trip Planner. Create the trip, get and empty day, you can delete the waypoints if the day is not empty. Select the day in Trip Planner, goto advance search (binoculars lower right corner), click options, User data only, and find your route. Right click the route select Add to Itinerary
