I have been cyling for 2 weeks and safed the track logs every day to Garmin BaseCamp. Now I would like to transfer them to Garmin Connect etc, but I am not sure if this is working or not in BC for mac and what other ways I have if it doesn't work... exporting a gpx file, manual importing doesn'tt work, nor selecting upload to Garmin connect from base camp option. thanks for you input, appreciated
I found out that simply selecting each track and exporting it, manually importing does the trick, BUT somehow, the first track I attempted has no timestamp, that's why it don'tt work. The others have.
I am afraid that BC has corrupted / changed my file when I at first selected combine tracks.... Bummer for the first day/track that is missing. Any way to change it? I cannot select redo as I already closed the program several time. real bummer always when I am using the software occasionally, you have to have the edge 800 clean at all times to prevent sudden death of reboots and back to original settings when you loose all data when you are on the go and now this happens. Makes me unhappy.
Do you still have the first track on your device? If so, download it again to BaseCamp. I can't think of any case where BaseCamp would remove the timestamps from a track. If it did, I'd like to know how, so we could fix it. Thanks.
No, I am handling the device carefully and deleted all activities every day after the ride and after importing them to BC to prevent the edge to crash, as it did a few years before and Garmin exchanged my edge at that time, but i read overhere that it still happens occasionally with others.
I can sent you the file, but what I did is; I selected all 7 tracks and clicked combined all tracks. I then noticed that all tracks were also disappeared and one of the tracks was the combined large one. I clicked undo and saw the old tracks again in the list. I did not, of course, checked the time timestamps, just the tracks and they were ok. It seems now that the first one, the one that is combined, has no timestamps anymore. If there is a way that I could resolve this, I would be happy to know. thanks,
