Base Camp Track from Google Earth?

First, please forgive my limited literacy with Garmin software.

I have a track that I created in Google Earth (v7.1.2.2041) using the Path Tool.

Can I save this as a track in Garmin Base Camp (v4.3.4)?

If so what are the steps?

I am using OS X 10.9.4.

Thanks,

Stan

Point to the Path in Google Eatrh left in the data areay
    Right mouse button
    Choose: Save as .....
Save the file as a KML file to a location

    Go to BaseCamp
    Menu File - Import
Search the KML file and try to import it.

Yesterday i tried this method, but it fails, the import into BaseCamp failed with me (a bug in BC).

    Solution:
Download the free program RTWtool from JaVaWa's website
    Open the KML in RTWtool
    Save to Garmin GPX/GDB structure
    Press the convert button
    Save as GPX file somewhere

Open the GPX file by double clicking it of us menu File - Import in BaseCamp.

    Marco,

Thanks very much. I was able to import the *.kmz file into "My Collection" folder in Base Camp with no trouble.

    I appreciate your help.

I use GE's "Save Place as..." KMZ format and have had no problems importing GE "routes" (actually Tracks) into either BaseCamp. The KML format does have an issue.

I used a google map map and tried kml and kmz and in both cases basecamp fails to import. In the map where 7 waypoints and 2 routes.

Tried to import them in google earth, no problems, export to kml again and bc still can't import.

RTWtool did fine to convert them to gpx.

I just went through five Imports of KMZ files from Google. in both Win & Mac-BC. All imported fine. Here is one of my test files: a Track and 3 Pins.
