Replacing Custom Symbols in BaseCamp Mac

I had a set of 32 custom symbols 20x20 working on my BC.
I replace in User/documents/application support/Garmin/Custom Symbol my set of symbols by a new set of 25 symbols (24x24).
I empty de basket.
I start BaseCamp and I still have the old set.
With the finder I find only the new symbols.
And that works fine with BC for windows.
Any suggestion?

It looks like you may have replaced files at the wrong path. The files should be located at /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Custom Waypoint Symbols/.

In newer versions of OS X, the Users Library folder is hidden by default. You can get there by going into the "Go > Go To Folder..." menu in Finder and typing "~/Library/Application Support/Garmin" (without the quotes) in the box. In case you're not running BaseCamp in English, the "Custom Waypoint Symbols" folder may be translated to a different string.

Thanks for your reply, but, I had trouble finding the correct path when I first installed the custom symbols. I have two locations and in the doubt I corrected both locations. My Mac is in french and yes the folder name is translated I have both folder with the french name and the us one.
I don't know what to do.
If I save my BC library, then going to preferences>advanced and choose "default parameter" for library location this should point to the correct location right?

The library location doesn't affect the path for custom waypoint symbols. It should always be looking in "/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Symboles de waypoint personnalisés/" (while running in French).

If you've put the files in that path and it's still not working, I'd recommend contacting our customer support.
