Version 4.3.4 still makes a mess of data, upgrading from 4.2.4

Found out today that there was an update, 4.3.4, for Basecamp for OS X. The text said "Fixed issue where list data was misread during upgrade from 4.2". THIS IS NOT TRUE! I still have exactly the same error. Alla data is shown in ONE folder called "Unlisted data". I have added two screenshots to show what I mean. The data itself does not seem to be corrupt, just put together in one single folder; Installing 4.2.4 again makes the lists show correct data again. Sigh, I guess I have to wait again for a new version ...
, .
Furthermore, my cloud data seem to have gone in the new 4.3.4.
  • I'm assuming you didn't upgrade from 4.2.4 directly to 4.3.4. If that's true, there are a couple of ways to recover. The easiest is to delete your 4.3 data and let the 4.2->4.3 migration occur again. You can delete ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/BaseCamp/Database/4.3 and rerun 4.3.4. If you don't want to lose 4.3 data, then you should be able to copy FolderData.gfi from your 4.2 to the 4.3 folder.

As the title say I did indeed upgrade direct from 4.2.4! Anyway I deleted folder ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/BaseCamp/Database/4.3, then upgraded and this time the data is sorted like it should be. Problem solved, although I don't really know how in detail! Thanks for the tip.
