BaseCamp 4.3.3 AutoUpdate can't be disabled?

It seems that in BaseCamp 4.3.3 the options to enable or disable the AutoUpdate functions for devices and BaseCamp itself can't be changed by the user anymore. Options are disappeared from the Prefferences.

I presume it's a bug.

How to disable BaseCamp update function anyway? By changing one value in the BaseCamp preference file.

This how I do it:
- download the program Pref Setter
- Unpack and drag it to your Programs folder in Finder (not mandatory).
- Start Pref Setter and follow the instructions and number in the attached picture.

I have 4.3.1 installed and it is not updating. I have checked preferences to check if auto update is off and I can find to option in 4.3.1.

I use Pref Setter and 4.3.1 is set to 01 so why won't autoupdate install 4.3.3?

4.3.3 required 10.8, but then so does 4.3.1, so I'm not sure. I was able to verify that updating is working for me. Are others not having autoupdate work?

And is Check for Updates in the BaseCamp menu working? Thats the manual methode en should give you the possibility to update. If this is not working, then there is something wrong with the Garmin servers or your computer.

The AutoUdate has a default periode for checking every 14 days (thats the periode in Windows BC).

After looking at the auto update setting with pref setting as described above, no changes or saving were made in pref setting, I open 4.3.1 and it asked me to upgrade to 4.3.3. If use dropbox to sync to other macs, that means if you open your data with 4.3.3 you have to move the install to the other computers. You can download the 4.3.3 from the web or open BC to upgrade on the other computers.
