I use bootCamp on my mac. Is there other map that I can use in bootCamp? The original map is kinda boring. I do a lot of Geocaching and a lot of the roads in the mountains dont show. Thanks funnnyfarm
Of course. If you connect your GPS to your mac Basecamp can read the maps from there. Depending on which maps you have installed it may be possible to install them onto your mac. Which maps do you have?

I assume you mean BaseCamp, BootCamp boots into windows. BaseCamp is great for GeoCaching. It really works well with Oregon and Dakota probable others Garmin GPS that support paperless geocaching. You can down load all the info about the GeoCache even user post made to the GeoCaching site directly to your GPS. I think you will want to invest in topo maps. I think the 24k are worth the extra cost but the 100k work well. If your GPS came with maps installed you will want to install them on your mac. Downloadable maps and maps on DVD can be installed It you just have maps on your GPS you can copy to a flash drive and plug it into your mac. Plugging a gps in your mac just to use the maps is a hassle. If you GPS does not have maps other than the base map. You can buy, download and install on you GPS and Mac.
With topo maps you can plot an elevation profile to the cache.
