New route or itinerary ... from Montreal ... to ... Cornwall, Ontario, is a must ?

Hi
I am living Montreal and each time I want to create a new route with Base Camp, on Mac, even going to SouthShore Longueuil it give me a route via Cornwall, Ontario and USA ( 2 days rather than 30 minutes, hum).... what's the problem? Thanks!

Which map are you using in Basecamp? What routing and avoidance settings do you have?

I am using City Navigator North America NT 2014.4 avoiding HyWays (I have try to check and uncheck those avoidance without results....).Merci
