I have an etrex Vista HCx and need help transferring map segments from BaseCamp 4.3.1 Mac version to a microSD card installed in my GPS.
I can't seem to find any Help files for this version that work.
The SD card appears on my desktop .
When I open BaseCamp I get a message that my data file is corrupted and that some data may be lost. No idea if this refers to the maps from the 24k SouthWest topo DVD that I just installed on my Mac.
When I click "manage your device" in BaseCamp, the application sees my SD card.
I have no idea how to transfer map segments to the SD card, and the help files (installed and online) don't have any links to the topic of how to install maps.
Can anyone help?
Garmin products are great but instructions for using them are ASTOUNDINGLY poor, IMO.
