I am trying to use BaseCamp to transfer map segments to my Vista HCx's SD card (see post below asking for help with this).
I'm new to BaseCamp,might have used it years ago--keep getting the "corrupt data" message when I open the app.
I have 2 "help" menus in the BaseCamp menu bar,and neither is working.
One of them gives a message "There was an error loading the online help -please check your internet connection and try again" even though my internet connection is fine--this is an endless loop. Below this message are 2 buttons: Open help in browser--this takes me to a "file not found " page in Safari. The try again just gets me back to the
"There was an error loading..." page.
I am wondering if I have a completely corrupted BaseCamp.
Is there any way to uninstall it completely and start fresh with a newly downloaded copy?
Sorry for all the questions but I am a noob and can't find any instructions for BaseCamp that work with the Mac version.
