Can I have moved from Windows Garmin Map software to Mac and having to use Basecamp. Using and eTrex and Europe City Navigator NT 2013. I had no issue on Windows in the Garmin mapping software in finding addresses but have major issues in Basecamp and sure I am doing something obviously wrong.
Looking to find the hotel detailed below- details are as shown in Garmin Europe City Navigator NT 2013 database.
1. On eTrex can find the address by choosing France then drilling down to address and can find the exact address 13 Rue Marsollier 75002, Paris, France. but obviously should be quicker to do on Mac and upload waypoint.
2. In Basecamp the only way I can find is to search for Marsollier having centred the map manually on Paris and the Hotel will show up as a POI but nothing shows under the address section (POI and Address are both selected to show). However what I should be able to search for the address. Entering the post code 75002 only show something in US (odd as using Europe), entering 13 Rue Marsollier shows no addresses.
How do I search for this address in Paris? It is there as the eTrex can find it but how do I use Basecamp? Beginning to regret move from Windows. Is Basecamp just poor at Searching?
