Sorry for what is likely such an ignorant request, but I would greatly appreciate some help with this.
Can someone please provide simple instructions for importing waypoints?
Specifically, I would like to generate a very simple file with 4 fields per record: waypoint name, lat, long, and comment, and import these into my Garmin. GPS Babel looks like an amazing program but it is too fully featured and complex for my brain! I would like to just generate a file in Excel with these 4 fields for each record, export from Excel in whatever format you suggest, and simply import them into Basecamp using GPS Babel or whatever other method you can suggest. Detailed instructions would be greatly appreciated.
