Hi there team, I can see this thread is really old but I'm having this exact issue and hoping someone migh have an answer. I want to select mulitple tracks by clicking them with the mouse curser. as mp_gps says above I can do this by clicking and draging to form a rectangle, but this is limiting. I have tried holding the Command key to select multiple but it actually does not work. Any other ideas?
Believe that if you don't use the rectangle method you need to select tracks in the left hand pane
SUSSAMB, per usual, is correct. Holding the Command (Apple) key allows you to select non-contiguous items. The Shift key lets you select multiple contiguous ones, all in the left pane of BC.
Yeah it seems that way. It’s a shame you can’t hold command and select the tracks directly. I wonder if there is a way of providing this feedback to be considered in the next update.
Yeah I was aware if that, I was hoping to select multiple tracks by clicking the tracks directly, rather than using the side panel. If anyone knows a trick for doing this I’d really appreciate the tip.
There is no BaseCamp development team anymore, it was disbanded years ago, so it is what it is. The only updates are to keep it ticking over.
Oh Really?!? Wow what a shame. Is there other software that Garmin users use these days that is maintained? BTW Thanks for your help SUSSAMB. :)
Well it is 'maintained' but not developed. Its predecessor MapSource is still available and works even though BaseCamp replaced it over 10 years ago.
