Basecamp version 4.3.1

I have been running BaseCamp Version 4.3.0.1 beta without issues. The forum has warnings posted about 4.3.1 but the warnings sound like issues a few people was having with 4.3.0.1 beta. Is it save to update from the Version 4.3.0.1 to 4.3.1?

Thanks
• We're sorry for the issues that people are seeing with their List data with 4.3.1. We are working to reproduce and fix the issue, but so far we have been unsuccessful. There is some combination of data set and folder structure that is causing issues that our testing has not yet hit. If someone, who is experiencing the issue that every time they run BaseCamp it complains that their list data is corrupt, would be willing to send us their folder data, it would be very appreciated. Please zip the file ~/Library/Application Support/Garmin/BaseCamp/Database/4.3/FolderData.gfi and send it to [email protected]. If you send the data, please post here. We should only need a few. Thanks.
• Thank you for getting into the issue. Just send you my "FolderData.gfi" file.
• How can I stop BaseCamp from using Internet?
I have disabled tracing my activities and on-line search. I see BaseCamp is looking for updates and there is no option to disable it.

Sorry, wrong thread. I'm using Windows version.

I have a before (which consistently failed) and an after (which works, it was recreated by importing all the previously exported folders in my lists). The before is in my last 4.2.4 backup. I can send the complete backup and a zip of the recreated if you wish or just post them on Amazon account and send you a link if it would be helpful.
• We've been able to create the issue with the folder data that has been already sent and are working on a fix. Thanks for the quick responses.
• Hi!

I’ll send my file to you.

From BC 4.2 export the lists (not their list folders).
Launch and quit BC 4.3 to create the 4.3 database. Delete everything in the 4.3 database folder, launch BC 4.3 and manually create the list folders and reimport the lists to their respective list folders.
• Hi for some reason the icons in the window that hold the Lists and List Folders are all scaled too large. I am on a dual monitor set up, one being a 15" Retina MB Pro and the other a 30" 2560x1600 screen. When I drag base camp to the MB screen and use it there the icons snap back to normal and everything is as it should be but when I drag it to the larger monitor the icons stay the same until I start interacting with it. So for example if I select a list the icon enlarges or if I resize the window all of the icons enlarge again. I have added a picture that shows the enlarged icons.

Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a fix? Thanks!

• This is a known issue in BaseCamp with no short term fix. Dragging BaseCamp back and forth between a Retina display and a non Retina display causes issues. For now, you'll need to start BaseCamp on whichever display you want, which may require dragging it into that display, and restarting BaseCamp, or live with the bad icons. Sorry for the inconvenience.
