I am trying to create a 3 day stay at a mid-point during my trip. How do I tell BaseCamp Version 4.2.4 (4.2.4) that this location will be a "base camp" for three days. At the arrival, I added 72 hour departure, but it doesn't cast the destination to the other days. Any suggestions?

Also, trip planner is routing through roads I have concerns to the condition. Are they safe for a motorcycle?

I'm not exactly sure what your current trip looks like, but there are a few ways to add a stop-over into a trip. The easiest way is to add a hub. That will only add after your last hub in your trip currently. That is a short coming that will be fixed eventually. If you are trying to a stop over before your last hub, then the best thing to do is to go to one of the driving days before your last hub and right click on the date/day number icon and choose Add Day Before or Add Day After. This will give you days in which you can add whatever you want. Note that the trip planner doesn't try to break any activity up over multiple days except the travel to and from your specified hubs.

You can manipulate the route created by trip planner by dragging it on the map or by entering extra POIs along the route.
