Exporting UTM coordinates

So, under BaseCamp --> Preferences you can change the Position Format to UTM, and the Datum to WGS84 <-- this is a GREAT ADDITION, BTW!!! And, on a waypoint by waypoint basis, you can view the UTM coordinates. However, when you export to CSV Text or Tabbed Text, it does not output the waypoints in UTM, instead defaulting back to LatLon.

Can Garmin, or anyone, shed some light on this? I SO NEED the export to be in the Format and Datum I set in preferences!

Ack, forgot: I'm using a handheld Garmin 60CSx, and the latest version of BaseCamp on a Mac. :cool:

Currently there is no way to preserve your format when exporting, however a workaround is to go to View Detailed Data List using the gear menu above the waypoint list. You can copy and paste from that list and the format is preserved. Hope that helps.

Sorry but really new to Base Camp. What are the pull downs to get to a list I can copy and preserve the UTM format?
