Trip Planner Help, Hubs

Can someone help we with inserting a hub? In planning a trip I have three hubs:

Home to Maine, Acadia, and PA to Home.

I want to bread the 15 day Acadia hub in to two additional hubs. I want a hub for Niantic, CT and Hershey, PA plus keep the home hub. I assume if I deleted all days after leaving Acadia, Bar Harbor area add add hubs plus adding all day back I would get the desired results. Is there not an easier way? If I click add hub... the hub goes to the bottom and I can't move the hub up. Can I not select a group of days and enter a hub name for the select continuous days?

Thanks

Can't help with your question,BUT... Niantic, CT is the next town over from Waterford, CT where I live. So, if you need any local knowledge PM me.
  • The two travel legs are not considered hubs, mostly because you aren't staying in one place. If you add a Niantic hub, it will remove the travel home travel leg, insert a travel leg from Acadia to Niantic, and then create a travel home from Niantic travel leg. When you add your third hub, it will do the same process over again. You may have to delete days from your Acadia hub manually to get the trip down to the number of days you want.
  • Thanks for the info. When I create a Trip I make a hub getting there plus a hub for each major move and the final a hub home. This work greats for creating trip but it is hard to modify a trip if you want to add a hub. As I see it a hub is nothing but a title but the title is very useful to denote changes in location. It would probably be a big deal to allow insertion or dragging of hubs given the date changes require but if I could add the days for the hub, select the days consecutively and give them a hub name I think it would be a useful feature for many.

    Thanks
