BaseCamp Hobbles Routes

If BaseCamp (BC) touches a route, the route will not be editable or reversible once the route is on the GPS device, in my case a Montana 600. A route created and managed exclusively on the Montana, and never touched by BC will be editable and reversible on the Montana. If a route created on the Montana is touched by BC, that route will no longer be editable or reversible on the Montana.

This needs to be fixed, about a year or more ago. Not kidding. Creating and managing routes with many waypoints is one of the major features of BC, and it doesn't work... still. And having a route on the Montana that has many waypoints that is not editable or reversible is not good at all. I'm amazed that such a huge deficiency still exists after all this time.

Where does this stand on the list of priorities?
