Trip planner issue

So I got a Nuvi 2455. Tried the trip planner.

In other words

- Created a trip plan for 8 days on Basecamp (on a Mac)
- Transferred the trip from MAC to the GPS device.
- I could see the trip on the device.
- E/g Day 1/8 : Route Start Point -> End Point (intermediate points present)
- But one the device when I selected the destination end point for Day 1/8, the device again took some other route.
- Its not the guided route which was created using intermediate way points.

Any ideas why this happens? Because it defeated the purpose of intermediate points. Am I doing something wrong?

You need to select the first point on the trip, not the last :)

Did not understand. Should I be selecting the next way point after I reach the first? Or if I select the first point automatically the whole route is followed?

You can select any point on a trip but your nuvi will then calculate its own route to that point. If you want it to follow all of your trip then you need to select the first point. On arrival your nuvi will then follow the trip with no further input from you .
