Transferring an open street map to Edge 810

Hi,

i've just bought an Edge 810.

I've downloaded an open street map in the gmap format via this website http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/ I've got a .gmap file

Now i see the map in Basecamp.

I've downloaded a small map (60 Mb) and i've got enough space on my Edge so i'd like to put it in the internal memory to avoid buying a microSD card.

How can i send this OSM map to the device internal memory ?

For those maps, the easiest option is to download the map in gmapsupp format. When you click on the download link, pick the file named osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip
Then you just have to unzip that, to get a file named gmapsupp.img
Just copy this file onto the Edge, in the "Garmin" folder.

No need to use Basecamp for this.
