I have a Forerunner 305 I use mostly for Geotagging photos, the tracks no longer appear in BC. The track info seems to be on the Forerunner but not saving. I have reset the forerunner a couple of times and the Garmin waypoints show in BC after erasing everything. Tried reinstalling firmware 2.9 but get an error at the end of the try. I did get it to save one track but the next several tries would not save. I think the forerunner memory is going bad, the unit does not mount on the desk top for verification. Any suggestion on a fix. Any recommendations on a replacement gps for geotagging.
