Combining Tracks with BaseCamp & Oregon 450t

I'm trying to combine a LOT of tracks into one large track. When I do Advanced>Join Selected Tracks, it joins all of them in a straight line, so it's useless to me. I either need to keep the tracks their original shape or be able to turn on a lot of tracks at once on my Oregon 450t. Are either of these possible?

Do you mean tracks or routes? When you join tracks there should be no change. Joining routes may change depending on what map and activity profile are selected in Basecamp.

You're jpg shows tracks so the only time you should get a straight line is between any gaps where the end of one track is joined to the start of another. ed in Basecamp.

I'm talking about joining tracks. I select all the tracks I'd like to make into one, and I end up with connected in straight lines as shown in the pic. I'm not the creator of these maps, so I'm unsure how they were created. Here is where I d/l the map. http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/500/

Well it's impossible to see what's happened from your jpeg but it seems to be what I mentioned, lines between end of one track to start of another. I suspect you have simply selected them all with no regard to which order they are joined up?

Correct, I just started at the first track, scrolled down to the last track while holding "shift" and then Advanced>Join. Is there a different way I should join them so this won't happen?

Yes. Select them individually in the order you want them to link up. On a PC you'd use Ctrl and click, not sure how it works on a mac?

Selecting them 2 at a time also gives me straight lines connecting the beginning and end of the tracks. I don't think is going to work well either. Is there not a way to show all tracks at once on a Oregon 450t? I only can show/hide when I click on each individual track on the 450t.

You could try IMGfromGPX. http://www.javawa.nl/imgfromgpx_en.html
It will let you create a map from your tracks, so you can load it onto the Oregon and display them all at once.
