Looks like I was too late posting about the tool highlighting bug to get it fixed in this latest version.
  • Your link has ... in the URL and does not work. Believe this is where you were trying to link: Mac BaseCamp 4.2.3 Download

    Edit: Fixed, thanks.
  • 4.2.3 still does not read/write to Nuvi 765 or 1490 when the boot filesystem is case sensitive. Reference ID: 1323349.

4.2.3 complains at launch if my 765 is connected and mounted, asks for email address to report an error but says nothing about the error. This is new since 4.2.2.

No complaint if Nuvi is plugged in and mounted after 4.2.3 is launched. My 765 is listed under My Garmin Devices but none of the data or maps I know it contains are listed.
  • linking GarminConnect and BaseCamp

    Hi there,

I tried to move a gpx file from BaseCamp to GarminConnect, using the menu apparently made for that purpose (attached). Although I used the right login-pass, the result is a failure (see attached). This is really annoying, since it should be a not to difficult to fix it I assume.
  • This should be fixed in the next version.

I'm using v4.2.4 on Mavericks and I still cannot transfer a track to Garmin Connect. I tried logging out of GC and then completely uninstalling Basecamp and reinstalling from a new download. But this didn't fix it. I could upload directly to GC but when I've used my Dakota I want to clip off the start and end of the track first, which is where Basecamp comes in. If the Dakota had an easy to use start/stop activity button (like my Edge) then I'd use that to generate manual privacy zones (like Strava does, automatically).
