UK/US date format in Basecamp 4.2.2

I'm sure my previous version of Basecamp had the UK date format, but since upgrading it seem to be the US style mm-dd-yyyy.
Is there some way to switch to UK format, dd-mm-yyyy? I can't see anything in the options.
Or did I just dream that it used to be in the UK format for me before?

BaseCamp uses the date format set up in your preferences. If that isn't working can you be more specific where it's different?

The problem is that I can't find any setting for this date format. Can you please tell me exactly how I get to these "preferences"?

Do you mean "preferences" or "options"?
I can see options in the Edit menu (Also Ctrl+O)

But I can't see any sign of anything called Preferences.

There's nothing I can find within options that seems to have any date format settings.

If you meant the windows preferences, I have mine set to dd/MM/yyyy, as follows:

This s the Mac section not the Windows section.

On a Mac try System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Region and then customize as necessary. But, I see no way to set a combined date/time group as in Windows.

Whoops. Didn't realise this was in the Mac section. I've now put it into the windows one.
