I must be in a different universe. I can not get BaseCamp to search for restaurants in Glen Allen, VA. If I click on Find I do not get an "Advanced" option. If I click on options, put Glen Allen, VA in the Location box and click POI, Food & Drink, I get one listing within 1.2 miles. Aint so, there are many places there. How does this thing work?

Like you, the first time I got just Glen Allen Bistro.
If you do not get what you expected with "Food & Drink" then just use "All Points of Interest". Many places that serve "Food & Drink" are listed as Bars, Hotels, etc. Also, at the top of the list over on the right next to the Reload arrow are 3 dots that will get "More Listings"
I punched that a few times and got 200 listings within 1.7 miles. In that list was Glen Allen Bistro and 10 other food joints.
Then I switched back to "Food & Drink" and got 50 listings, all food joints, within 2.5 miles.
Its just software, mess with it and beat it into submission is my motto. :D
