Does anyone know if there is a way to show total ascent for planned routes? It only seems to show total ascent for the tracks recorded but not for the planned routes despite all the required info seems to be in there(elevation, path & distance).
ok when I import my own converted & exported track back into Basecamp, the ascent & descent show up correctly. So for it to work for me, I need to convert route to track -> export as gpx -> delete the track in Basecamp -> import the track. Not exactly a solution but at least I know how to get it to show up now.
My elevation plot is working fine both in route & track. when I highlight the track it says 0 for ascent & descent(before export & import back the gpx).
Can Garmin tell us when the total ascent oversight in the route planner will be fixed. This is one of the most important pieces of information for any cyclist.
Really annoying it does not exist and I am amazed that Garmin designers didn't recognise this.
