Trip Planner request/question

The easy/automatic cleanup of leftover data used during trip planning is on our to do list.

I'm fairly sure that the search along route radius is 5km. Currently there is no way to adjust this, but we'll look into adding it. One not-totally-obvious caveat to search along route is that Yelp search doesn't work in that mode. Yelp's interface doesn't support it and we don't want to hammer their servers unnecessarily.

Trip data "cleanup" will be most welcomed as would Route editing on the map via drag-route to new road.

I know there are plans for route editing improvements in Trip Planner (TP). My number one request, in addition to searching along route, a popup list of waypoints from my collection arranged by folders and lists allowing me to select a waypoint to be added to the TP day. I like the traditional route TP list created for each day. When I right click a waypoint or the day of a TP trip, It would be nice to be taken directly to the TP traditional list. Currently I have to exit and find the day in the list.

Currently dragging a waypoint moves the waypoints from day to day. Is there a way to copy and paste waypoints or drag copy.

Thanks BaseCamp the best. I keep finding more neat stuff. Get info from TP brings the tradition Waypoint Dialog Box. You can add a single waypoint to a nothing planned TP day. The day not prints in the Itinerary and you can add urls, note, etc. for the TP day.

You can click on a waypoint in a day and use Edit->Copy, or command-c. Then click the day you want to paste it into and use Edit->Paste or command-v.

Having an all-waypoints "details" window and have them sorted/grouped by "Reference" would be awesome.

I use a number of "Smart List's" to organize my data in various ways. I would like to be able to have one or more of those windows open and stay open AND THEN open the Trip Planner so I could easily use the data from the "sticky" windows.
