Trouble importing Mapsource maps into basecamp

I recently had to format and re-install windows due to a harddrive failure.

I installed basecamp but when I try to import my topo maps from my mapsource disks it appears that is not possible? The map manager wants .ucx and .gma files which are not on those disks.

How do I get this to work again? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1. You can't "import" maps; you install them on your computer, using the installer on the disk. The maps are available then to both MapSource and BaseCamp.
2. ucx and gma files contain unlock codes/certificates that are unique for the combination of that map and your device. Since DVD's aren't personalized, you need to unlock the maps online. Don't make the mistake of trying to register the map; that can and needs to be done only once (you've already done that in the past).
