Basecamp as basestation maps?

I am only able to see the global map on the computer when I hook up my 655t and use it as a basestation.
Is that normal? Or am I missing something? i have purchased the 24 K maps and they show up fine on the computer if I am not in Basestation Mode.

Are you running the latest Basecamp? That apparently included 'Basestation improvements', see here https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?42357-BaseCamp-4-2-1-is-available

Whether it solves your problem though I don't know.

Currently BaseCamp can't read maps from the device when it is in BaseStation mode. If they are on a card, put the card in a separate card reader and they should be read...not the most convenient solution admittedly.
