When I plug in the 2555 to my computer and go to 'internal storage/GPX data' there are maps there I have downloaded but they are not visible in the routes on the Garmin. There is not a tool/import maps setting on this model. The only choices are Volume, Apps, and Settings. Under Settings, there are 7 sub settings none of which go to My Data or My Routes. Under the folder Apps/Trip Planner ilist some routes but not the ones shown in the GPX folder. I have a lot of storage space left so that is not an issue. One of them shows up in the 'favorites folder'
Where do the imported maps go? Can I access the 'MyData' folder or the GPX folder from the Garmin?
I thought the 2555 was a upgrade to the 1450 but it is difficult to navigate around. Does not seem to be as user friendly as the 1450. I have had this about 7 months and I am ready to try something different. Any suggestions on a more user friendly unit with lifetime maps and traffic that will take waypoints and routes from Mapquest or Google Maps?
