Guidance needed on creating tracks/routes with turn by turn navigation - Oregon 600t

Hi guys,

I would be grateful for links to some guidance on how to create a track or route (offline) with turn-by-turn guidance. The navigation software in the Oregon 600t works perfectly with clear maps containing turn-by-turn arrows and text. However, when asking for navigation along tracks or routes prepared via Basecamp, Gamin Connect, RideWithGPS etc, all i get is a map showing the track, but no turn-by-turn arrows or instructions.. I've spent about 4 days with absolutely no luck, so now asking for help please!

Navigating a Track on your Oregon 60t will not give you turn-by-turn arrows or instructions. Routing will give you this information depending upon the Map you have installed on the Oregon. The factory map, 100K Topo, does not support turn-by-turn guidance.

When you transfer "routes" from other sources like the ones you named, they are transferred as Tracks. Those tracks can be changed to Along-road Routes in BaseCamp but make sure you have the via point filter set to ≤50.

If you want to use Along-road routing, you should install maps like City Navigator or other routable maps on your Oregon.
