Problems publishing an Adventure

I have made my Adventure in Basecamp on my Mac but I can't publish it.

When I try first it gives me the message: "Your published adventure will have the following changes: Large photos will be resized"

And when I then click Publish the progress bar never gets beyond the first little bit with the message "Preparing Adventure for for publishing..."

I've also tried via publishing to Picasa, but it won't recognise my password.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I did a trial with a shorter track and just one image and it did publish fine.

So I've downsized all my images to somewhere between 400 and 700kb. It's a 1200km track, with 75 photos. But it still won't publish: doesn't get beyond the "Preparing adventure for publishing..." status box. And before getting there it still warns me it'll downsize large images. What constitutes a large image? Is this the problem?

Can anyone give me some advice?
