I have a Garmin Nuvi 3790 which came with preloaded CN South Africa maps. I am able to use and search those maps using Roadtrip. I am going to Europe next month so I purchased CN Europe (2013.1) and I installed it on the SD card in the Garmin. It seems to work fine on the Garmin unit (although I am not yet in Europe) in that it can find addresses etc. I have other (Garmap) mapsets on my device so I didn't have enough space to load the European mapset on the Garmin unit itself.
When I start Roadtrip with the Garmin connected I can see the European mapset on the Garmin SD card and the map information appears to be there but I can't search it on my computer. The search function is available but if I type in any address, even a major landmark, it searches forever and never finds anything.
I was hoping to use Roadtrip to plan my roadtrip (Duh) but its not possible to find anything.
Can anyone assist?
