Long Route Created in BC - Do not want stops

I have created a long route in BC and I do not want to stop along the route, only continue when I choose to stop. It seems that the route I created when transferred to the Zumo 350LM has made my one long trip into a couple of trips. It has the directions under the Get Info area, and shows turns etc, but then also shows "Arrive at x and y intersection" or "Arrive at x location (x = address or street name). When I import to the unit, it shows the long route broken up into separate routes with the end points shown as Arrive noted previously. What I want to do is to go from Southern California to Monterey Ca on my motorcycle hitting as many backroads as possible with out having to "Arrive" then select the next destination. Simply want to create a route following the backroads I have mapped out, stop where I wish, and continue on when I wish.

I read through the forum(s) as well as watched the You Tube videos and Garmin manuals but it is hard to believe that I cannot simply create a route from A to B, modify it to not do shortest/fastest and stay on the roads I choose. Similar to Google/My Maps or others.

I did create a short route through our local canyons here in So Cal and it had me "Arriving" at a location along the route where the guidance did not continue to my end location, it required me to stop, end the route and then select the next "leg".

Hoping to do a around the US tour as well as other rides with primarily backroads and not simple point to point / A to B routes on major highways or shortest/fastest routes.

The route you created in BC is a single route. The "Arrive at's" are Via Points you place along the route to make the routing go where you wanted it to. If you don't want those Via Points to be "announced" on your zumo350LM then you can change them to "shaping" points in BaseCamp. Just right-click on the Via Point in the Route properties window (your screen shot) and select the option "Don't Alert on Arrival". Making these changes may/should keep the zumo350LM from braking up your Route into "Leg's".

Thanks for the clarity and info, I will give this a try. Going to search for a "how to" on all these right clicks and tools.
