Transferring routes & tracks from Basecamp to Edge800

I have several tracks and routes in a Basecamp folder. Clicking the right mouse button offers the option to transfer the content (routes and tracks) to the device.
After the process the device renders just 1 route of 2 and non of the tracks.
No matter how many track & routes I transfer in the folder /Garmin/Newfiles just 1 file appears. After disconnecting and starting the device just one track/route will be rendered.
I tried one by one: nothing better
I exported the tracks & routes to GPX files and transferred those to /Garmin/newfiles: nothing better

The process with my edge 600 I use since 2007 is not great either but more straight forward and works at the end.

How come that in 2013 Garmin software performs like software from the 90s?

Horrific experience and a wast of time

I have exactly the same problem. Very, very annoying. Is there a workaround?

Have your GPS connected to your PC, it should be visable in Basecamp.
In Basecamp you can make a list (lijst).
Right click on "my collection" (mijn verzameling).
    Choose "new list" (nieuwe lijst)
Move your tracks routes to this list.
Left click on this list to select it, than right click and select "send to" (verzenden naar)
Select your device and press OK
While the list is being send to your device, a green bar wil grow under it's name.
When the transfer has completed succesfully, a green circle with a white V will appear on the icon where you send your data to, probably "internal storidge" (interne opslag).
When you disconnect your device all that was in the list will now be in your GPS.

Each time you transfer data to your GPS, the file it is stored in is overwritten.
So unless you detach your device and import the data to the device it's internal storidge (on the device: import data) it will be lost with a new transfer.
