measure tool in basecamp windows

I am sorry for starting a new thread but I am new to garmin and new to forums. I tried searching through past posts with no luck. It took me an hour just to figure out how to post my question. I am trying to figure out how to find pins and walk a property line from looking at a plat map. it gives a bearing N0045M31S and a length... 1334.81 I can't figure out how to use the Oregon 450t to walk the bearing but I thought if I could put a route in the general direction with the length in feet I could maybe find the pin. I can't get the measure tool to measure in feet. it only measures in tenths of a mile. Also If I could just figure out the coordinates of where the corner of the property is then I could put that into the garmin and find it. There is some urgency to this. We just purchased this property (Ozark mountain terrain) tried to find our boundaries yesterday and discovered that someone is building a fence through the middle of it diagonally from the NE corner to the SW corner. Sorry I'm babbling. In a nut shell here's my questions:

1. Is there a way to convert the measure tool from tenths of a mile to feet
2. Is there a way to walk a bearing with a garmin or figure a route from a bearing
3. Is there a way to figure out coordinates from two bearing to find the corner of a square?

I apologize if I have made any forum boo boos... If there is a list of rules point me in that direction and I will read and abide by it...thanks :)

    Hello Ozark,

1.) Set your 450 to display UTM coordinates.
2.) If you are using MapSource or BaseCamp set them to display UTM coordinates.
3.) You need to know the bearings and distances of all your property lines.
4.) You need to go to all the points on your property that you think are in the correct position and stand there for at least 1 minute and then set a waypoint there and make a note about which corner you think you are at.
5.) Post the data from 3 & 4 here and I will do the calculations and tell you what to do to look for your property corners.

Thank you don I have looked but have not been able to figure out how to set my garmin to UTM. I am now out on the property so can't access my base camp.

Bearings: n 8916'19" w /1325.96'. - I found the SE and SW pins along this but did not know about standing still for a minute.
    N 00'45'31 E / 1334.61'
    S 89'1221" E / 1325.17'
    N 02'38'25" W /635.92'
    N 04'05'47" E / 632.68'
Shoot I'm in my I phone and can't get to the end of the sentence below thanks so much for your effort!
The east ide of the prop has a road that dead ends at the center giving us two measurements.

    Hello Ozark,

Did you write down the Lat/Long for those pins"
Did you make a waypoint at those pins?
    I need coordinates....UTM or Lat/Long....whatever.
Can you load whatever your 450 recorded into some software and attach the file here?

Letter the sides of the property (N,E,S,W) and then tell me which bearing/distance goes with which side
