Display name

Using Basecamp os OSX, I choose the "Sign in to MyGarmin" and a popup window appears that says

Choose a display name for yourself. This will be the name shown to people who view your adventures.

When I put in my name that I would like to be displayed (which is also my sign in name and not something common), it says "The display name you chose is already taken." I am assuming that this sees some display name somewhere in the system that I have already set up but I have no way of getting past this. Can anyone suggest where I would go to view display names or other ways I can track down how to fix this?

Try logging into OpenCaching to see the displayname/handle that is set in each account that you own.

Thank you. Even though I am using the same address on opencaching for whatever reason it wasn't linked to my my.garmin.com account. What I ended up doing was changing the handle on opencaching. Once I did that, it allowed me to enter that old handle as the display name on basecamp.
