How to display two mapsets at once

My friends and I are going on a backpacking trip on the Washington-Idaho border. I have the Garmin 24k Topo maps for the West and North Central regions. Washington is in the West mapset and Idaho is in the North Central one. How can I display both maps at once? In Basecamp, from the Maps menu, I can only choose one or the other.

At the moment BC will only display one map. You should of course be able to select both on your GPS.

So it's going to be a pain in the butt to plan the trip using BC and I won't be able to print off maps using it. Is that right?

Try running two sessions of BC and put the display side by side. Printing maps can be done using screen dumps, not great but better than nothing. Remember, ink-jet ink is water soluble, one drop of rain can ruin the paper map very quickly.

That is not possible on the Mac.
