I am unfamiliar with basecamp and I'm trying to download Louisiana Topo mapping from Basecamp to my Oregon 450 GPS. How can I do this? The top mapping is in Basecamp already.
I've answered this in your other thread. Connect your oregon to your PC, it should appear in the left hand pane. Right click it and you'll get the install maps option ... assuming you have maps on your PC that can be installed on your oregon.

Unfortunately that doesn't work on the Mac...yet. For now the easiest way to transfer an entire map is to just run MapInstall directly from Finder (which is all the above method is doing). If you want to send maps to match specific map data, you can choose that option on the Transfer to GPS dialog in BaseCamp. Then MapInstall will automatically pick the maps that cover the data you are sending.
