BaseCamp 4.0.2 is available

This maintenance release fixed several high occurrence issues:

Fixed crash during device transfers
Fixed crash while quitting BaseCamp
Fixed crash when importing large files
Fixed crash when downloading certain adventures
Fixed issues with uploading adventure logs from devices
Fixed all white text in summary tab of Route info
Fixed creation date related to pictures in Waypoint

Previous versions should autoupdate to 4.0.2 or you can download it directly from here.

Hi!
I'm a spanish mac OSX user, My OSX is 10.8.2 I have a Macbook 2GHz Intel core 2 Duo 4GB ram.
I'm trying to install Base Camp 4.0.2 but it's impossible!!!!
The application reports a mistake and I can't run basecamp!!!
Can you help me?

What is freezing, the program or your Mac? Do you have a device connected when opening the program? If it's the program that freezes, how are you fixing that? Force quit, restart?

BaseCamp 4.04 is already available and this poost still is stiky.

Is it planned to be updated/released to App Store. Because that would automatically track
the update on to the host machine.

In the App store I still see V 3X.

Yes we are planning on releasing BaseCamp 4.1 to the App Store. Because of the new security requirements introduced for sandboxing, the user experience will not be as nice as the web version. The user will be required to give BaseCamp permission to talk to an SD card and some devices, and to have access to some linked files on their Mac. We've worked with Apple to make the changes as painless as possible, but it won't transparent.
