Garmin BaseCamp Mobile app

Hi all,

The Garmin BaseCamp Mobile app is in the app store.

On the moment it's compatible with the iPhone 4s and the New Ipad (iPad 3).

U can download it in the app store:

On the moment it crashes on my iPad up on connection with the Fenix
i can check this o a iPhone since i don't owne a 4s.

Update:
checked in on a iPhone 4S running iOS 6, the app also crashes to up on connection with the Fenix.
Both devices run ios6

    It's interesting that Garmin is using Google Maps for this app. They don't list a Cellular or WiFi connection in the Requirements. Seems a bit odd that a mobile app for the fēnix would require a network connection. I think the value of this app (aside from sharing) would be to capture your fēnixdata while you are NOT near a network so you could see it on a MAP.

    The software requires Bluetooth Low Energy to communicate with the fenix, and the 4s was the first generation iPhone to support this which is why the software requires 4s and newer.

    Trying to use bluetooth and basecamp on my PC -- no go

    Using a bluetooth v4 adapter in my pc i can see the fenix device, but pairing fails -- no windows driver for fenix on bluetooth.

    On the fenix, going to Share Data, BaseCamp, it says loading and the bluetooth icon pops up. Then search for devices on the PC. The fenix shows up in the list but, as stated, pairing fails due to no driver.

    Also, similar issue pairing to my android (htc evo 4g LTE) phone. Fenix shows up in scanned devices list, paring fails.

    Are these features (PC and Android bluetooth compatibility) on the development roadmap?

    seems like bluetooth on the fenix is completely worthless unless i have an iphone4s--no thanks!

    Same here. Crashes on iPhone 4s iOS 6 when connecting.

    basecamp mobile crashing on iphone 4s with ios 6

    i have the same problem sometimes crashes and other times says it can't find any compatible device. I have a fenix.
    i assume that the sharing data setting on the fenix should be basecamp rather then unit to unit. Are there any other settingsthat need tweeking?

    I purchased my Fenix and I am from India hence my default APP-Store is INDIA. I tried to download the APP but it say it isnt available for my store. Can this app be made available for the Indian Users also. OR is there another way to get the same app on my Iphone 5 with the rest of my purchases.
